Design and Manufacturing Phase
‌Structural Design‌: Select appropriate parting lines and incorporate sufficient draft angles to prevent surface scuffing or deformation during demolding. Position gates on thicker sections where they won't compromise aesthetics; for large, flat parts, use multi-point gating to prevent warping and short shots.
‌System Layout‌: Ensure cooling channels are evenly distributed close to the cavity surface to maintain uniform temperatures across all zones. Place venting channels at the end of the melt flow path, with depths matched to the plastic's viscosity, to prevent defects such as burn marks or air bubbles.
‌Materials and Machining‌: Select materials-such as pre-hardened or quenched steel-based on production volume and the plastic's corrosiveness, applying appropriate heat treatments to enhance hardness and wear resistance. Strictly control mold plate flatness and the fit precision of guide pillars and bushings to ensure smooth mold operation.

Production and Usage Phase
‌Pre-start Checks‌: Verify that mold fastening nuts are secure, cooling channels are clear and leak-free, and safety devices are functioning correctly to prevent operational accidents.
‌Standardized Operation‌: Follow the correct sequence for opening and closing the mold; never force the mold shut. Select mold release agents compatible with the mold and plastic material, controlling the dosage to avoid affecting product quality. Avoid direct hand contact with the mold cavity during part removal to prevent injury or burns.
‌Environmental Control‌: Maintain stable workshop temperature and humidity, prevent contact with corrosive substances, and minimize the impact of environmental factors on mold precision.
