Core Molding Components
Cavity and Core: These directly determine the connector's external shape and internal structure. Precision tolerances are typically controlled within ±0.02mm, enabling the molding of critical features such as the connector body, positioning posts, locking slots, and guide grooves.
Gating System: Pin-point gates or submarine (tunnel) gates are commonly used. Pin-point gate diameters generally range from 0.5mm to 1.2mm, ensuring smooth filling of the mold cavity with molten plastic while minimizing the need for post-molding gate processing.
Precision Inserts: Used to mold micro-features such as mounting slots for conductive pins and clips for shielding covers. Repeat positioning accuracy reaches ±0.05mm, meeting the pin-layout requirements of high-density connectors.

Mold Structural Foundation
Cooling System:Cooling channels typically have diameters of 6–12mm and utilize a zonal, wrap-around layout. The distance between the cooling medium and the cavity surface is maintained at 15–25mm to ensure uniform cooling, keeping the dimensional variation rate of insulating components within ±0.1%.
Side-Action (Core-Pulling) Mechanism: Used to mold special features such as undercuts and lateral holes. Equipped with high-precision guide components, it ensures accurate movement without misalignment during mold opening and closing.
Ejection System:Composed of components such as ejector pins and ejector plates, this system ensures the smooth release of the molded connector part after injection, preventing defects such as stress marks (whitening) or deformation.
