Commonly Used Metal Materials
Stainless Steel: Standard grades such as 304 are common choices for micro-precision parts. They offer good corrosion resistance and machinability, enabling micron-level precision, and are widely used for micro-hardware components in electronics and home appliances.
Aluminum Alloy: Characterized by its lightweight nature and excellent machinability, it is well-suited for high-precision 5-axis CNC machining. It is frequently used for micro-structural components in the aerospace and 3C (Computer, Communication, and Consumer Electronics) sectors.
Titanium Alloy: Known for high mechanical strength and excellent biocompatibility, it is compatible with low-speed precision cutting processes and serves as a primary material for micro-precision medical implants.
High-Carbon Chromium Bearing Steel (SUJ2): Offers hardness levels of HRC 58–64 and superior wear resistance. It allows for coaxiality control within ≤0.002 mm, making it ideal for manufacturing micro-precision guiding components.
Cemented Carbide: A WC-Co composite material with a hardness of HRA 89–92. Its wear resistance is 10 to 50 times that of ordinary steel, making it suitable for ultra-precision micro-parts intended for high-volume, high-speed production.
